Nonprofit Accountant – QuickBooks Cleanup & Financial Reporting

StrongSteps Behavioral Health Foundation is seeking a Contract Nonprofit Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records and support responsible financial management as our organization grows.

This remote contract role will manage routine bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online, including transaction categorization, bank and credit card reconciliations, tracking donations, grants, sponsorships, and program revenue, and preparing monthly financial reports. The contractor will work directly with organizational leadership to resolve discrepancies and organize supporting documentation.

Compensation is a proposed $300 monthly retainer for an agreed scope of ongoing bookkeeping. An initial review will determine transaction volume and workload. Historical cleanup, FLIPA claim reconciliation, tax filings, and additional accounting services will be scoped and quoted separately.

The ideal contractor has experience with nonprofit bookkeeping and QuickBooks Online, works independently, communicates clearly, and handles financial and participant information confidentially.
